Challenges
The Society school is running presently in a temporary shed building which is having difficult climate control issues (Heat & Cool special in extreme weather conditions). If a good school building is provided that will put students at ease, provide security and offer an environment they can feel proud of. Sufficient place and good lighting are non-negotiable. Dark, cramped classrooms fail to facilitate learning. Beyond this good classrooms have clear acoustics, higher quality and a balanced temperature.
The Society school depends on local donors and parents to meet the society school administrative cost and contingencies. The local public representatives, merchants and big farmers support the school either in kind or cash. The poor tribal parents pay minimum fees to meet the remuneration of the teaching and non teaching staff of the society school. The donations and fees collected are very insufficient to run the school.
Majority of the society school children can’t even afford basic school needs like school bags, school uniforms, notebooks and stationery items, due their parents poor economic condition. Most of the society’s school children come to school with only one notebook for all subjects. School management is to provide support to a very few students to meet their basic needs with the help of donors.
Transport facility is one of the major constraints to the society school because the area lacks the basic transport facility due to its presence in remote and agency areas. Society school management is totally dependent on local funding and the nominal fee collected from the children which is utilised for the day to day administrative and other recurring expenses.
Providing the Digital classroom is another challenge to the society school which is a very essential component in modern school because it has a huge impact on the learning of the children and gives them an opportunity to engage with the wider world and undertake independent learning including projects
The society’s school children come from 18 surrounding villages. They start from their villages by 7:30 AM and reach back to their villages by 6:30 PM in the evening. They bring their mid day meals prepared by their parents. The meals they bring lack nutritional values and some students can’t bring mid day meals and depend on society school to provide which is a big challenge to the society.
The society school teachers come here all the way from Adilabad town to teach the school children despite having a very limited transport facility. There is no separate transport facility to come from Adilabad to Society place which is above 65 KMs. They have to come in Government buses after getting down at X-Road and then through Auto they have to reach the society place which is a very difficult task to the teachers.

Expected Outcomes
Usage of digital classrooms at schools will bring significant change among the tribal students and teachers to connect the wider world. Children can now access Global libraries such as online video tutorials, free ebooks, and FAQ forums where they can learn new concepts very easily. Digital Classroom education will help the children to teach themselves and also bring their lessons to their families. In this way the community will also be benefited by the use of technology in the present world. Students can now gain knowledge and information not only from classroom assignments and libraries but also from available online resources.
Providing buses to these children will create motivation among them and it will reduce absenteeism. Bus facility will play a major role for school children but also for teachers who come from Adilabad town. Parents of students and also the teachers will feel more comfortable and safer to go to school by bus because of its remote area location which is surrounded by reserve forest area. This facility also reduces the burden of money on the parents.
Providing a mid-day-meals programme not only encourages poor children belonging to disadvantaged sections to attend school more regularly and help them concentrate on class room activities but also provides nutritional support and improves the nutritional status of the school coming children.
Poor tribal parents can’t afford to send their children to private schools because of their poor economic conditions and can’t pay minimum fees to the private educational institutions . The society school here depends on local donors and parents to pay minimum fees to pay the remuneration of teaching and non teaching staff working in the school and to meet day to day contingencies of the school. If administrative cost is provided regularly by the standard donors, that will help the society school to concentrate more on educational activities instead of requesting the local donors and parents. Regular donations from standard donors will also help the society school to engage professional, intelligent, skillful and more effective teachers to teach the students.
Providing electricity facilities in the society school not only supports quality education by enabling the use of electronic teaching aids in classrooms, enhances learning outcomes, improves the well being of students and teachers by ensuring better lighting conditions but also improves the functionality of health care facilities
Satisree Educational Welfare Society will achieve some progress if donations and services are added : Administrative cost i.e., remuneration to the staff working in the society school, facilities of transport, digital classrooms, mid day meals to the school coming children and electricity facility. Once the above said facilities are provided that will have a direct and positive impact on the 338 school children and 20 teachers of the school.
